What’s the story?

Straight from the heart of Maine, Ass over Teakettle will be the last bloody mary mix you will ever use! Simply said It will kick you right square in the donkey!

Katie Quinn, founder and owner of Ass over TeakettleKatie Quinn is owner and general manager at Lakewood Inn Restaurant a seasonal establishment that adjoins the historical Lakewood Theater in Madison Maine.  Katie began serving her Bloody Mary’s to her summer patrons as a specialty cocktail addition (paired with local Maine vodkas) to the brunch menu.  Her uniquely simple recipe was met with resounding success.  During the winter season she would make a transition to Bullwinkle’s (Sugarloaf) which, she managed for six years. She brought her mix recipe with her and began serving patrons from all over the greater New England area.  Guests of Bullwinkle’s began to convinced her that she was onto something when, in one day she served over 500 Bloody Marys!  Inspired by the positive encouragement of the community and aided by the local chamber of commerce and Main Street Skowhegan, Katie found the perfect place to call home for her new company, Willis Henri LLC.  When the local chapter of the Free Masons, offered her the use of their kitchen, Katie seized the opportunity, quickly renovated and re-decorated it, converting it to an fully functioning commercial kitchen and got to work.  Since then Ass over Teakettle Bloody Mary is now on the shelves of more than 12 stores and restaurants throughout Maine, from Kingfield to the coast.
